A musician with 30+ years of music-making experience of all kinds, Jess started writing songs in 2021, soon after relocating from NYC to Jim Thorpe, PA. She's been writing and performing original music ever since. She recorded her first CD of original music in 2023, and has new singles and an EP planned for 2025.

Slow Time

Jess Corbin

Jess' 2nd release, and EP of 5 songs called Slow Time basically encompasses the things she's been thinking about, when she takes some time to really just sit. Although slow time isn't always an easy thing to go through, it's a necessary part of the journey.

Simple

Jess Corbin

A debut collection of 10 original songs in an Americana/folk/rock style, “Simple” is the debut CD of Jess Corbin. Drawing from personal experience and a lifetime of playing piano and singing, this collection is the first in her songwriting journey. The CD features 10 original songs - 8 were written and arranged by Jess, one co-written with Dee Dasher and one with John Rafferty. All arrangements were by Jess, and the bulk of the recording was completed at Red Rock Studios, expertly mixed and mastered by Kent Heckman.

“I am extremely glad to have been given the opportunity to listen to such a sublime piece of art. The album ... sticks true to its influences and the experiences of the artist, Jess Corbin, but it has enough musical variability to excite you and enough prowess to draw you in further. It is an album that plays and bounces between vulnerability and thematic anthems, which gives it a definite edge in this day and age... This album truly feels like what it would be if a proficient folk album from the 60s to the 70s was recorded today, without losing and sacrificing any aspects of the original genre. It feels like a warm hug. ” - Grace Bradford
